At Perspective, we believe that protecting your privacy is extremely important. We want to inform, respect and give control to our clients and website visitors about what happens to their data. We are committed to managing and using your data securely, respectfully, and with due diligence in order to provide you with better service and the best possible experience.
We start from the principle that everyone must have control of their personal data and that everyone has the right not to share certain information with us. For this purpose, Perspective Brussels BV (hereinafter referred to as ‘Perspective’) acts as the legal entity responsible for processing your personal data. Below, you will find information about the data we collect, why we collect it, how long we keep it and how you can exercise control over it.
This Privacy Policy applies to all our (potential) clients, partners, suppliers, and anyone who interacts with Perspective through our website or services.
In certain situations – for example, when you contact us by email, through our website or via other communication channels, you may provide us with personal data that identifies you, or that allows us to identify you.
By accessing and using the website you consent to our processing of such data and to the inclusion of the information you provide (or that we obtain from other sources, including publicly available ones) in our database. We maintain this database in order to keep our records complete and accurate.
We do not commercially exploit your data, nor do we pass it on to third parties for commercial purposes.
The types of personal data we may process include:
• identification and contact details (such as name, address, telephone number, gender, and email address)
• demographic information (such as age)
• preferences you share with us through social media, promotions, mobile applications, competitions, or other interactions
As required by law, we do not process sensitive categories of data (such as information about racial or ethnic origin, political opinions, religious or philosophical beliefs, sexual orientation, or health data).
We process personal data for specific purposes, and only the data that is necessary to achieve those purposes is processed.
For example, we may use your personal data:
• when we have received your explicit consent;
• in the context of preparing or performing a contract;
• to comply with legal or regulatory obligations to which we are subject;
• when Perspective Brussels BV has a legitimate interest, provided we always strive to balance that interest with respect for your privacy
If you do not wish your internet traffic data to be processed for marketing purposes, you can let us know via hello@wegiveperspective.com
We take the protection of your personal data and privacy very seriously, in all locations where we work.
Our authorized personnel are trained to handle confidential data responsibly. For projects involving privacy-sensitive information, we carry out risk assessments regarding security and the protection of personal data.
We apply a range of technical and organizational measures to safeguard your personal data, such as password protection, hard disk encryption software, firewalls, antivirus tools, intrusion and anomaly detection, and access controls for our authorized personnel.
If a data breach occurs with negative consequences for your personal data, you will be personally informed as required by law.
The number of authorized personnel with access to your personal information is limited, and access is granted only to the extent necessary for them to perform their duties properly.
You have right of access
You have the right to access your personal data free of charge. This means you may ask us: • whether we process your personal data;
• for what purposes we process it;
• which categories of personal data we process;
• with which categories of third parties we share your data;
• what the origin is of the processed dataod; and
• what logic is used in the event of automated processing of certain personal data.
To exercise your right of access, you must submit a written request to Perspective by email at hello@wegiveperspective.com. To prevent unauthorized disclosure of your data, we require proof of identity. We therefore ask that you preferably include a copy of the front of your identity card with your request.
Perspective will respond to your request within the legal period of 30 days. Please note that this period only starts once we have received your written request along with all necessary information to process it.
If you have any reason to believe that Perspective did not handle your request correctly, we ask that you contact us first via hello@wegiveperspective.com so we can review the situation together.
For the sake of completeness, we would like to inform you that, if Perspective fails to respond to your request, refuses it or if our response does not meet your expectations, you always have the right to submit a complaint to the Data Protection Authority, via dpo@apd-gba.be, which may intervene in its role as mediator.
Your right to rectification and removal
You are entitled to have incomplete, incorrect, inappropriate or outdated personal data corrected or removed. To do so, please contact hello@wegiveperspective.com. We will make the necessary corrections or deletions within the statutory deadlines. Please note that depending on your request, it may no longer be possible for us to provide certain services.
Perspective takes appropriate organizational and technical measures to secure personal data. We do not keep personal data longer than necessary to fulfill the purposes for which it was collected, unless we are required by law to keep it longer.
For example:
• To comply with accounting and tax obligations, we are required to retain billing data for up to 7 years.
• Certain data may need to be retained as legal evidence in case of disputes, for up to 10 years after termination of your contract.
Access to archived data is strictly limited. Certain data from former clients may be kept for up to 1 year after termination of the contract in order to identify the former client, unless you indicate that you no longer consent to this.
